Wow, What a nice couple, They took such great care of us. We had an awsome place to stay in, and they made sure that our tummies were full.
We have only communicated with Karen and Wynand via email as they stay in Australia. We had i bit of a drive to get to the venue on the friday, which took place at Ithala Gamer reserve near Vryheid in Natal. on Arrival we caught up with Karen and Wynand on what turned out to be a coldish evening. Karen happened to pick up a cold along the trip, quite a bummer, but she hid it really really well and enjoyed every minute.
The wedding was really stunning, open skies and comfortable temperature. as for the couple shoot, we really had alot to work with, the biggest problem was time, we kinda overshot our schedule due to stunning light and scenery , oh well!!! too late now, sorry to all the guests for that! he he
Thank you so much you guys, we really enjoyed every moment of your wedding, we wish you all the happiness on the other end of the indian ocean!

When we moved to Nelspruit 9 months ago, we were often asked by people why we shoot on Nikon. For people who dont know Nelspruit, Nelspruit is definately Canon Country. Our anwser was consistantly: ” it doesnt matter what camera you shoot on, we use Nikon because we like their cameras and what they offer. In the end, the final image is in the hands of the photographer”. BUT, our motivation for Using Nikon is most definately Backup service, and Nikon is by far the best at that. and here is why.
21st August: our beloved D2x fell with a 24-70 2.8 nikkor lens, the whole rear mount pulled away from the lens main body and ripped the electronic contact strip in half.
23rd August: we sent our lens to nikon through a courier
24th August: Nikon Recieved the lens, proceeded to analyse damage and forwarded us a quote. which we signed off.
25th August: Nikon repaired the lens.
26th August: Nikon sent our lens back to us with a courier, for next day daybreak delivery
27th august: We recieved our Lens, and strangely enough it works better then before, focuses better and looks sharper!!! we could take our lens to the wedding this past weekend which we photographed in Natal and left on friday midday.
So firstly, I would really like to thank Nikon for the most amazing service a proffessional photographer could possibly ask for in a time of desperation. Joe and Shielah, you guys worked absolute wonders for us!
For anyone that cant make a desision of which brand camera to buy, this should be something to consider.
